After years of developing my own personal mindfulness practice I have qualified as a mindfulness teacher and I offer my clients the chance to work with me so that I can help them to lead a more mindful and less stressful life.

Clients can contact me for free initial consultation. Together we will develop a bespoke mindfulness programme, the cost of which will depend on the exact nature of the programme, but will likely be in the region of ยฃ45 per hour of 1-2-1 sessions.

How my journey into mindful meditation can help you reduce stress

I first became aware of the benefits of mindful meditation during the period in 2019-2920 when I was accelerating my learning in health and fitness. As I read more and more I was repeatedly informed by health experts that mindfulness practice was a cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle.

Having seen a long interview with Headspace founder, Andy Puddicombe I downloaded his app and worked my way through the introductory practices. Over the following months I made sure that I set aside time every day for a meditation practice and quickly began to notice a reduction in stress and anxiety. This led to an overall feeling of improved emotional health and happiness that was quite profound.ย To broaden my practice I undertook an 8-week course in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation. This gave me an expanded awareness of the different types of mindfulness practice that I could choose from, including; mindful walking, mindful eating, self compassion, and gratitude.
